Male Poodle x Shih Tsu Puppy, 7 weeks (not available to go home until 10 weeks of age)
Ace is ace! He is a poodle/shih-tzu mix and he is bursting with playful personality. A handsome champagne colour with white feet, Ace loves to play with squeaky toys, nylabones, and your shoelaces! Housetraining is going well, with almost no indoor accidents and a keen interest in going outside. Ace gets along fine with all the other dogs in the house, from small through to very large. He's not afraid to tell them off if they try to take his toy or snacks! He is just a VERY special pup.
Ace would do best in a fairly quiet home, as he can be easily overwhelmed. Another dog of similar size would be fine. Since Ace and Tex did not have a great start in life, puppy school is even more important for them to attend, and will be a required part of adopting the boys. Ace would be OK in a unit or apartment as long as his playtime and walk needs are met. He will not shed much at all, but will need regular trips to the salon to keep his coat looking luxe.

Ace and Tex will be ready to adopt after they have been de-sexed, and had their final puppy vaccination at 10 weeks of age. MDR will take applications and families may come and meet the pups. A home check will be conducted and the lucky adopters will have some time to get supplies and find a puppy class.
